Beyond Sedgefield the N2 negotiates the valley of the Goukamma River before reaching a turn off south towards the sea and the Buffalo Bay resort at Walker Point.  The name of the resort was not idly chosen.  Last century buffalo did in fact roam these parts in their hundreds.  The last buffalo was killed in 1883.
