Hattingspruit

Resting on the banks of the Tom Worthington Dam, between it’s two tributary streams, lies the village of Hattingspruit. Established as a mining town in the 1800’s, it was a hub of activity but with the closure of the mines it has been transformed into a peaceful village with a country atmosphere. Bisected by the main road from Newcastle to Dundee, it boasts one of the most modern, computerized breweries in South Africa.
