Lamberts Bay is also well known for the Bird Island where thousands of Gannets, penguins and other bird species have made the island their nesting and breeding ground. The Bird Island has a secure lookout point with one-way glass for observing the breeding and nesting habits. There is also a curio shop and restaurant with a penguin pool situated on the island.

Lamberts Bay offers lots of activities for the adventurers, such as 4X4 trails and quad bike trips.
