The name Attakwas: The first pioneers followed a valley from the coast (Mosselbay) to the Klein Karoo (Oudtshoorn) called after the Attakwas San Tribe

Museum - Le Roux House

Post Box route in Oudtshoorn, ± 3 km

Tour the historical building of Oudtshoorn

Cango Caves, tours on the hour (30 km from Oudtshoorn)

Cango Wildlife Ranch (3 km from Oudtshoorn)

Visit a number of Ostrich Farms (5 - 15 km from Oudtshoorn)

Explore these selfdrive tracks by own or hired 4x4's. There are 4 Nature Reserves to explore and 10 privately owned 4x4 routes

There are various mountain biking trails to explore, these will cater for each and everyone. A particularly technical one of 20 km is the Burchell Track. The Swartberg Mountain Pass is a less "off-road" alternative with beautiful views from the top!
