Self-catering is offered in the Garden Cottage

Activities

Louwlands is optimally positioned to enjoy the best of the Southern Drakensberg.
There are wonderful opportunities to go hiking in the nearby uKhahlamba Drakensberg Park, starting from the nearby KZN Wildlife Office at Cobham. The district offers three superb golf courses each in a magnificent mountain setting. Sport-lovers can also enjoy tennis, bowls and squash from nearby clubs. This is the heart of the finest trout-fishing in the country and guests can arrange a day's fishing on dam or river in season. Tours are available from here up the famous Sani Pass and into Lesotho. San Rock Art Tours and Wildflower Tours can also be organised.
