The warm furnishings, lush drapes, large airy rooms, wooden staircase and huge log fires in Winter evoke memories of the bygone Victorian era, when the ostrich feather trade was at its height.

Ascending the staircase to the sweeping reception rooms and vast veranda, guests can imagine the lavish entertaining that took place at the time.

Baron's Palace comprises of 31 en-suite apartments, each of which is equipped with a telephone and colour TV. 24 of the air conditioned rooms open onto the swimming pool. Other facilities include an a la-carte restaurant, a Bistro and a bar. Conferences are catered for in two seperate venues. The hotel is well-positioned to explore the many attractions of Oudtshoorn, including the Cango caves, the Feather Palace Museum and the ostrich farms. Ample secure parking is available. Children are welcome.

 Equipped with:  bath/shower, telephone, overhead fan, tea/coffee supplies, bathroom amenities, clock/radio & hair-dryer (Ironing facilities available in laundry room). Non-smoking rooms and baby-sitting services available.
